Be that as it may, it is interesting to think back to the time when I was your age. There have been some tremendous changes from that time to the present as to transportation, news media, and in all fields. However, as human beings I doubt whether much change has taken place and I imagine you are thinking at this time in your life about your future plana - What kind of a career should I take up? What will my future be like? Should I be a teacher? Should I be an engineer? Some of these thoughts went through my mind and no doubt they go through yours. To all of you who are completing ninth grade at Phillips, my wish is -May you achieve in your aspirations and may your future bring you success and happiness. 0. E. Bakke, Principal Now life begins.
