To the Class of 1967 This has been an interesting year. We started with a student body over half of which was new. It has been interesting to see how the student body has become a coordinated unit, and because of this have been very successful in various drives such as the Paper Drive, United Fund Drive, Red Cross Drive and CARE Drive. Also, it was interesting to see how fearfully you started to run and control your own lunchroom and how successful you were in this venture. I have been very pleased and proud of your accomplishments. I hope that you will be as successful in the future as you have been in your junior high school days and for those of you who have not done so well, I hope that you will be able to get going in the following three years in senior high school. My best wishes to all of you. Another three years of school has gone by for you ninth graders. These three years certainly are years of great change in your lives. Most of you have grcwn up physically and socially and now stand on the threshhold of high school. I hope that all of you are ready for this new experience and meet it with confidence that you have gained here at Phillips. To all of you, the best in your new educational adventure. This year at Phillips has been a good one for ne. Working with the students here has been a rewarding and pleasant task. Never have I known a faculty more conscientious and hardworking. I wish you all the best for the coning year and succeeding years.
