The school realized approximately S120 profit from the drive, after paying for prizes and purchasing some magazines for the school library We hope that this record may be broken again next year by the expert salesmen ot P I-I S IUNIOR PROM One of the most successful social esents ot the school year was the Iunior Prom which was sponsored by the Class ot D7 on March 16 Lights colors and decorations were in keeping with St Patrick s and many agreed that the hall never looked more prom like than on this exening With good re treshments on sale a pleasing orchestra Al Brackley and a good crowd no wonder the Iuniors made a good proht and a good record CAREER DAY As we go to print we are looking forward to attending annual Csareer Day which will be held at Farmington on May 71 The Sophomores and Iuniors will attend the meetings which we expect will be xery interesting and worthw hile We do not haxe much information at the present time as to what the program will include or what speakers will be aiailable THE SENIOR CLASS TRIP stands out in the minds ot elex en students ot Phillips High School tor it marks the begin ning ol hxe happy days in and about the na tion s metropolis the largest city in the world New York City These elexen well dressed but well drenched persons were Dana Dill who nnally concluded that the best thing after ill was to take the big citv tor granted Rus ell V1 orcester w ho ngured stairs went downstairs with a better sensation than elexators Xlalcolm NVebber who slept well but little Patr1cia VK itham w ho has the ambi tion to lne in New York C,leo How ard w ho likes high buildings trom the ground .1 Y V. ..
