Our defensive charge was led mainly by Michael Tate and Ronald Cheatham. The running attacks were led hy Cedric Tztrver. Herbert Davis and Robert Stewart. Jackets Sfing Raiders, 14-6 Raiders Stomp Gophers The Red Raiders traveled to Huey town to slaughter the Gophers with a score of 19-O. Quarterback Robert Stewart led the offense by maneuver ing 55 touchdowns. The defense for the Raiders was led by Cheatham. Tarver. Hicks. Brock. and Smith. The Raiders feasted on buffalo meat after their victory over the Par- ker Thundering Herd at Legion Field. Our outstanding players were Stewart. Raiders Eaf Buffalo Meaf Tarver. and Hicks. who intercepted a pass and ran for a touchdown. The Raiders showed their strength by massacring the Cjolonels with a score of 27-O. A promising 12-0 lead at the end of the first half showed that the Raiders really meant business. The third and fourth quarters were even better as the Raiders defeated the Rams 732-O .
