MAY DAY HAD BAD LUCK The Mirror Board-sponsored May Day festivities revealed many hidden talents. Field events, in which couples competed for prizes, provided laughter and suspense for those spectators brave enough to defy a downpour which began twenty minutes before the celebration did. The contests revealed which couples were best in a tricycle race, an egg throwing contest, a water pouring contest, and a sack race. For those who wanted to stay dry inside the gym, music was provided by the Daily Edition. The Mirror Board still has a beautiful trophy to award to the male member of the faculty with the Most Beautiful Legs on Campus - all of the contestants chickened out! A1 Lovoy took second place in egg throwing contest.

Homecoming 1969 was 3 week of confusion, excitement, and spirit. The many activities were traditional, but also suspensefuL Halftime of the Homecoming Game revealed this year's queen. Miss Kathy LaRussa. Hopes were high mat the Raiders would be victorious, but defeat didn't dampen the spirit for the up coming games. Seniors will probably always remember that rain caused their last Homecoming Game to be postponed until Saturday night. BAND? 23
