MAY DAY HAD BAD LUCK The Mirror Board-sponsored May Day festivities revealed many hidden talents. Field events, in which couples competed for prizes, provided laughter and suspense for those spectators brave enough to defy a downpour which began twenty minutes before the celebration did. The contests revealed which couples were best in a tricycle race, an egg throwing contest, a water pouring contest, and a sack race. For those who wanted to stay dry inside the gym, music was provided by the Daily Edition. The Mirror Board still has a beautiful trophy to award to the male member of the faculty with the Most Beautiful Legs on Campus - all of the contestants chickened out! A1 Lovoy took second place in egg throwing contest.
