THAT WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED MISS JEANNETTE GARRETT was born in Montgomery, Alabama. She attended Huntingdon College and received an A. B. degree. She attended Columbia University and received an M. A. degree. She also attended summer sessions at Auburn University, University of Rochester and Randolph Macon Womans College. She took a trip to Europe in 1954 and on various occasions has visited Canada. Among her interests are reading, swimming, attending plays, and attending musical concerts. MR. EDWARD AULL, JR., was born in Lexington. Missouri. He went to Wentworth Military Academy and Washington and Lee University. His A. B. is from Washington and Lee and an M. S. is from the University of Alabama. He started teaching history at P. H.S. in 1928. He was Head of the History Department and Boys’ Advisor before becoming principal. He taught one year in Puerto Rico. He has visited in Mexico. Panama, the Virgin Islands and the U.S. A. His interests are varied. He says he dabbles in history. MISS OLIVIA H. DANNELLY was born in Montgomery. Alabama. She attended Huntingdon College and Columbia University where she received her B.A. and M.A. degrees. Her interests are teaching, reading, and working with teen-agers. She spent six weeks touring twelve European countries. She has traveled in the Western states and several of the Eastern states. She is the State Founder of Delta Kappa Gamma and the president of the Gamma Chapter, second vice president of B.E.A. and has been a Sunday School teacher for 25 years at Highlands Methodist Church. MISS GEORGIA AIRHEART received A.B. and M.A. degrees from Duke University. She also attended summer sessions 3t Southern California. University of California, and University of Montana. Among the Scholarships she has received are the Rockefeller, Alabama, a Ford Foundation, and a Harvard Scholarship to study Latin. South and Central America, and other subjects. She has traveled all over the United States, Mexico, Canada, and in ten European countries. Her hobbies are reading, attending the theater, and walking. 7

THE DEVOTED SERVICE MR. HENRY L. WALLER was born m Auburn. Alabama. He went to Auburn University where he received his B. S. and the University of Alabama where he received his M. S. His travels have taken him to many foreign countries and most of the United States. Mr. Waller lias been head of the Science Department for the past five years. His main interest, besides science, is his job as assistant manager of the Credit Union. MISS LILLIAN GATCHELL was born in Selma. Alabama. She attended Alabama College and holds two degrees, an A. B. and an M. A. She has traveled throughout the United States and Canada. Her travels have taken her to Europe, the British Isles, and the Mediterranean last summer. Among her many interests are gardening and raising flowers MR. ERNEST L. TUCKER was bom in Irwin, Tennessee. He attended Carson Newman College and received his B. S. there. He has traveled throughout the United States. Raising livestock such as ponies, cattle, and sheep is an interest of his. To pass the time he enjoys fishing. MISS ISLA H. PARRETT was born in Iowa. She has attended the University of Missouri. Teachers College of Columbia. University of California and also tne University of Mexico. She has received two decrees. B. A. and M. A.
