BRADBURY L. CILLEY. RADBURY LONGFELLOW CILLEY, A. M., was born in Nottingham, N. H., on the sixth of September, 1838. In 1842 the family removed to Exeter, where, in the autumn of 1851, he entered The Phillips Exeter Acade- my, which he left in 1855 to enter the Sophomore Class of Harvard College. He was graduated from Harvard with very high honors in 1858, when he was appointed an instructor in the Albany Academy, Albany, N. Y. In December, 1858, he was chosen professor of ancient languages in Phillips Exeter, and he entered upon his new duties in February, 1859. For over forty years, ff Brad, as we all know him, has taught in this school which he loves so well. Linked as he is to those who have made Phillips Exeter so famous, he is now active in the work which is raising the school to a still greater height of excellence and fame. We trust that to his forty years of service may be joined many more, and that his fondest hopes for Phillips Exeter may be fully realized, while he is yet in a position to enjoy the so well deserved results of his loving labor.
