Much that you have gained in these formative years will clear the way for success in your future endeavors. The truly educated person has learned a sense of justice, duty, truth, honesty-not only because it is the best policy, but because it is right. We can point with pride to all of the great accomplishments of the past but we must also be aware of the challenges of the present. There is no easy way to this meeting, but rather it means that each one must use the ability with which he is endowed to the greatest extent possible. Your high school education is not an end in itself, but rather the means to an end. The diploma you re- ceive is a testimonial that you have availed yourself ofthe opportunities presented to a reasonable degree.
