Dedication lt is with great pride and pleasure that we, the graduating class of 1954, do dedicate our yearbook to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis O. Adams. Their untiring efforts to help make better students and citizens of tomorrow have made them friends to students, parents, and teachers alike. We feel that Mr. and Mrs. Adams are most worthy and deserving of this honor. For 12 years Mrs. Adams has been the able and competent director of our Home Economics Department. With much patience she has taught girls of Junior and Senior High cooking, sewing, and the general knowledge of the care of the home. Willingly she has served as advisor to refreshment committees for our school parties, has helped plan menus for the cafeteria and has been in charge of food for banquets. Without her, many of our social events might not have been a success. Mr. Adams has been a member of our faculty for three years. He teaches junior history and senior P. O. D. and during his first year he taught Sophomore history. In the sports department Mr. Adams has served as a coach of wrestling and football. Cheerfully he has managed and chaperoned the Juniors annual trip to Gettysburg, trying to the best of his ability to make it the most memorable event in our Junior year. Together Mr. and Mrs. Adams have added much to the success and happi- ness of the students who have attended school here. As our high school career is coming to a close, gratefully we extend our appreciation for the understanding Mr. and Mrs. Adams have shown us, wishing them much continued success and happiness in their teaching careers. 4
