3' is' -... -we l8JiC6Lff0lfL We the class of 1950, take pleasure in dedicating our Annual to the newly remodeled Homeinaking Department. The new department was planned to give the student the satisfaction and enjoyment of working in efficient and attractive home-like surroundings. In order to teach practical homemaking it was necessary to modernize the department to give it an atmosphere more conducive to meet the homemaking problems of every day life. Happy homes make a stronger community. In this way students may learn to huild sounder personalities, to understand hetter the duties of managing their own homes, and to develop a more cooperative attitude for community life. The hest available household equipment has been installed. Our living area, laundry, kitchens and clothing room have heen equipped to further aid in the development of those skills which the students will use in the future. ,-., 5
