Here patients who have been re- leased from tuberculosis hospitals continue treatment while at home so that the condi- tion is kept under control. Treatment consists of the injection of air into the thoracic or peri- toneal cavity to collapse the lung and allow the infected area to heal. This clinic is held in the out-patient department of this hospital and is under the direction of Dr. George Taylor of Philipsburg with the assistance of Dr. Clark Forcey, Radiologist of Philipsburg, who does fluoroscopic examinations ofthe patients after each iniection so as to determine the amount of collapse and the amount of healing that takes place with each treatment. This clinic is held each Saturday morning.
