Elections Committee are CULTURAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE The Cultural Affairs Committee provides a varied program of the fine and perform- ing arts, culturally enriching entertainment, as well as a number of educational and curriculum-related presentations. We offer the entire community opportunities for cul- tural enhancement and intellectual enjoy- ment. This year the committee sponsored a number of events on campus in addition to some outside excursions. As Textile is locat- ed in a culturally rich area, students were able to attend orchestra concerts, drama productions, ond the ballet through our ticket program. A bus trip was planned each semester to see the Winterthur Muse- um in Delaware and to New Yorls to tour the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Since our prime responsibility is to serve the students, the committee feels strongly that the students should talee the opportu- nities they are offered. 1981-82 CULTURAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE ELECTIONS COMMITTEE those seldom seen, but always heard people on Textile's cam- pus. We see these people at the beginning of the Fall semes- ter for Freshman elections and then again in the spring -first for the SGA elections of President and Vice President, then again for class president and repre- sentative elections. However, these people worle all year long to prepare for these events and to malse sure they run smoothly, fairly, and hon- estly. They did an excellent job this past year, thanlss to Ro- seonn Kuhar ond Laura Flaim who chaired the committee and all their volunteer helpers, Continued good lucls and good worlsl Kim Wuest, Laura Flaim, Tkoseann Kuhar, Susan Abrams, Marybeth, Eileen Collins Helene Poist
