FRONT: Jim Nicho- loau, Jaime Simon, Eli Dau, Dave Siegel, Henry Gutner, Jim Miller, Claude Shelton, Eva Smayo, Linda Linehan, Joan Schwachman, Emily Bau- international club The International Club of the Philadelphia College of Tex- tiles and Science, formed in 1949, is an active organization of International Students who recognize the need for a closer understanding between the people of different coun- tries and cultural backgrounds. The basic aim of the club is to promote friendship and a better understanding between Americans and students from other lands. Through talks, films, informal discussions, nationality shows, social activi- ties, and field trips, members gain a broad outlook of the contemporary world. The club also seeks to assist the for- eign student in his adaptation to college life in this country, it provides him an opportunity to become introduced to extracurricular activities and express his leadership abili- ties. The Christian Science Or- ganization was formed in 1963 by Christian Scientists on campus. It holds weekly meetings, at which there are readings from the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, after which testimonies, experi- ences and comments are shared with members and interested guests. These meetings are open to the student body, and all are cordially invited to attend.
