Analysis 1969 editor and staff take great plea- sure in dedicating this yearbook to Mr. Ercal Kai- ser who has been a devoted teacher and friend to the students and faculty at our college. He has given of himself so that others may learn and share his knowledge of the textile industry. As head of the Jacquard department, Mr. Kaiser has given his students not only the factual techniques needed for this area of design and engineering, but an inspiration and curiosity to pursue their studies further. A professor who can instruct and be a friend at the same time is a rare person indeedg and yet Mr. Kaiser has done this in a most unique and valu- able way. The experience and knowledge gained by studying under him is a remarkable transition from student to graduate. lvlr. Kaiser will always remain ,significant mem- ory to those whom his talentl and personality have been aquainted.

-I i I Diversification of the textile industry is apparentfrom the wide range of courses in our curriculum. Through major study in such fields as Fabric Design, Textile Marketing and Management, Textile Engineering, and Textile Chemistry, students learn to become competent contributors to a high- ly competitive industry. Others wishing to participate in non- textile businesses may study in Business or Chemistry. Because of the materials and faculty provided, the students knowledge goes beyond the classroom. He not only learns from a textbook, but from practical experience, that will en- able him to become a more well rounded adult.
