I Our new Dean of College is Donald B. Partridge, who was formerly our Dean of Stu- dents. Dean Partridge received his education from Bates College and Harvard University. He has been at PCT8cS since 1948. Before that, he was a teacher and director of several New England high schools. Dean Partridge is an active member of outside organizations such as the Masons and the Kiwanis. He is well known for his association with several pro- fessional guidance organizations. An assistant Secretary of State recently pre- dicted 'a great future for complexityf Most of 'di f' ' - ive. .1 today's problems are complex whether in the field of science, textile manufacture, social science, or international affairs. To such prob- lems there are no simple answers, if indeed there are any answers at all. You as educated young men and women should reject pat and simplified answers to complex problems and realize that you are most often nearer the truth in realizing the complexity of a problem and furthest from the truth in over simplifying a problem to arrive at an easy answer.
