INTRODUCTION: Witch — Jean Hounhan CAN ' T GET INTO MED SCHOOL BLUES By Johnny Luska and the Cremasteric Reflex Band: Mike Burruano, Bob Beyer, Ben Konell When I was in college only one life was for me, Getting drunk every night and staying up until three. When I get out in the real world I ' ll worry about it then. Right now all I want is to party with my friends. Then graduation came and a thought occurred to me. Why not go to med school and get my M.D. The med schools said, Get out of here man , The only place for you is Med School of Siam. I ' m down on my luck, I feel 1 paid my dues. But now I got a case of the Can ' t get into med school blues . I bounced from job to job, a dropout from life. Lost my self respect in bed with my best friend ' s wife. Needed a new start, a career just right for me, Then I heard about something called OSTEOPATHY It ' s not cracking bones, It ' s not feeling skin, It ' s everything there is to know about medicine. Got my act together, got my application straight, Got myself a haircut and now I ' m feeling great. Got myself an apartment with an old college friend. Got myself an acceptance letter from PCOM. I ' m feeling like I ' m someone and did you hear the news. That letter was my cure for the Can ' t get into med school blues . Now I ' m a first year student learning all kinds of good stuff, I ' m studying more than ever, I just can ' t get enough. My life has come together, my parents think I ' m great, They used to think that all I did was drink and masterbate. I got myself a girlfriend, I dig her and she likes me, She didn ' t believe it when I told her about my history. I thank my stars every day for this second chance, If not for the people at PCOM I ' d be lost, or dead or in France. Soon I ' ll be a DO. with a residency to choose, Hard to believe that I almost choked on the can ' t get into med school blues, the can ' t get into med school blues.
