- DEDICATION MORTON GREENWALD, A.B., D.O., M.Sc. (Path) I am an Osteopathic physician. Each of you is in the process of becoming one. I will be judged by what comes of your education, and it is my job to see that you learn and learn well. So spoke Dr. Morton Greenwald on the first day of what was to be a long, arduous and rewarding sopho- more year. Terrified, at first, by the volume of materi- al to be assimilated and awed by his seemingly limit- less store of knowledge; we soon came to realize that this man was engaged in a labor of love for teaching and a devotion to his profession. As the year progressed, so did we. Firmly guided through the myriad intracacies of pathology, we came face to face with and learned to understand the prin- ciples which Dr. Greenwald imparted so well. His un- canny ability to sense when a student was not work- ing up to par and to give him a stimulating sense of academic discomfort; was only matched by his gift for singling out one who was feeling discouraged and frustrated and offering him a kind word or a consol- ing gesture. We, the Class of 1967, dedicate this chronicle to you whom we will remember respectfully as Dr. Green- wald, warmly as Greenie , and always as a fine gen- tleman, an apt teacher and a good friend.
