In strange contrast to their great ability to invade and destroy mankind, bacteria depend for their survival on a very delicate balance with their environment. Treat- ment ol bacterial diseases, therefore, consists to a large extent in stimulating a resistance in the body which will be unfavorable to continued bacterial growth. Learning to handle properly and identify these bacteria are: Howard LeBarge, Andrew Kirila, Melvin Katiman, Sidney Kochman, Royal Johnson, Jerome Kohn, Simon Josephson, Louis Lamsihow, and Joseph LaCavera.
