The comhination of an osteoj)athic college and a hospital is the ideal arrangement for corre- lation of training. COLLEGE AUDITORIUM THIS is the daily scene of active students. The auditorium is located on Forty- Eighth Street and leads directly into the main corridor of the first floor. The library is on the left and the auditorium witTa a seating capacity of 500 is situated on the right. The entrance to the General Clinic is found just to the right of the en- trance. The college was founded January 27, 1899. Formerly the college has been located in the Stephen Girard Building, 1901. In 1904 it was moved to the Witherspoon Building, and later to the northeast corner of Thirty-Third and Arch Streets. From 1906 to 1911 it was situated at 715 North Broad Street, when it was moved to 832 Pine Street. In 1916 a building to house the college was purchased at the southeast corner of Nineteenth and Spring Garden Street . On November 16, 1929, this splendid new building was opened to classes. Here the philosophy and teachings of Andrew Taylor Still, and the ideals and traditions of the founders, Drs. 0. J. Snyder and Mason W. Pressly, have been main- tained by teachers of national reputation as 0. J. Snyder, Muttart, Flack, Balbirnie, Pennock, Dufur, Nicholl. E. G. Drew, Galbreath, Ira W. Drew, and others. Here is the heart of collegiate activities. Examinations, special lectures, demon- strations, and dances are held here.
