A vigorous fund-raising drive was held to raise money for a scholarship fund - the first specifically for Social Work students. The Richmond Soup Society was given to PCB, and will be used for future ministries and training for students, under the direction ofthe Social Work Department. Curriculum revisions were made to keep PCB at the top of the Social Work profession in training at the Bachelor's level. The Urban Advance convention was held in the Spring semester. Bible Pastoral Studies Friendly, co-operative, quiet but forceful . . . these words describe Dr. Clinton S. Foraker, the new chairman of the Pastoral Studies Department. Dr. Foraker's return to PCB - he graduated in 1964 - marked the increasing organization of the major. Highlights of the year were the Pastoral Studies Dinner in September, andthe annual Pastor's Conference held in March, which many local Pastors attended. K
