a All You Add ls Luv The 1975 Tennis team faces the Bicentenial year after the graduation of Captain 4951 man Dave Pitt and Mike Pap- pas. Last season proved fruitful in discovering new talents to carry forth in 1976. The experiences gained by Dave Dilworth, Iohn Volz, and Connie Blair will be shown in 1976, Dean McFadden and Roger Peterson balanced the squad on the basis of their playing experiences of the previous two seasons. The disappointment in inconsistent playing and the loss of several players hurt the racket squtacl's overall 5-4 seasonal record. 'Ilhis team had more depth than squads of previous seasons. The seasonal performances individually are as follows: Dave Pitt, up against the best finished 6-2, continually having trouble against Allentown. Dave Dilworth 6-3 was very steady and relaxed in his first yearn of competitive pla, ing. Mike Pappas' maturity in playing his famous lobliing game proved his determination to win in his best season A7-2. if-5 John Volz gained much playing exper- ience. 27ff6 Connie Blair 6-36 added a feminine touch to the sciuadl with a strong sense of good ball placement. To each p ayer, the challenge of competitive playing on the court has been spiritually rewarding in growing icloser in our daily walk with Cod togethergasyagteani. .Y i 4.x Ll if .X , we-arf X Wi-N,,,h 1 .jg . ill! 32.1 - l We ' . ss. qi, v. -M ' 'JF 'TQ 13.3. if A.
