STEPHEN DEPUE The various types of Christian serv' ice and the numerous problems and responsibilities that were mine as a stu- dent at PhilaBI have only deepened my friendship with and confidence in the Lord. My desire is that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death. JIM ERSKIN 'Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowlf edge Him and He shall direct thy paths. Praise and honor belong to my Lord for His faithfulness unto me. My prayer is that I may know Him more intimately, love Him more deeply, and trust Him more completely with the result that He may accomplish His perfect will in my life. C. LEON DILLINGER By His grace, these years at PhilaBI have caused me to stand still and hear the Word of the Lord, so that in every endeavour He might have the pref eminence. Through this, He has taught me that every task must be motivated by His divine power and every triumph attributed to Him as a gem of praise. FRANK W. FARIES Did we in our own strength conyide, Our striving would be losing, Were not the right man on our side, The Man of God's own choosing. Dost ask who that might be? Christ jesus it is Heg Lord Sahaoth is His name. From age to age the same, And He must win the battle. 'Twentyfthree BARBARA DUTTON I have enjoyed singing, for God's glory, with the Phi1aBI Chorale while at school. However, the biggest thrill that I experienced was seeing teenage girls, in an institute of correction, come to know Christ as Saviour. My testi' mony is: Praise the Saviour, ye who know Him! Who can tell how much we owe Him? Gladly let us render to Him All we are and have. DIANE RUTH FICKENSCHER One of the greatest blessings that I have received at PhilaBI has been the teaching of a Bible Club. It was in this club that the Lord gave me a real love for children's souls. I remember vividly a tough gang leader who, having ref ceived Christ as her Saviour, carried constantly with her a tattered and torn family Bible. What a joy to see the Bible become precious to her and others!

BONNIE BUELL The greatest blessings which I have received here at PhilaBI have been in my Bible classes. There is nothing to he compared with studying God's Word. We would do well to remember what the Psalmist has said, 'Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee. WILLIAM, CON OV ER One of the greatest blessings of school life was my leading a soul to the Lord for the first time, This was Il child in a Bible Club. The experience taught me that the Gospel must be simple for all who hear. I will ever be indebted to the Lord for this lesson. BETTY JUNE CHANDLER I'm so thankful for the blessings I've had and the lessons I've learned here at PhilaBI. God has done so much for me. Now my constant prayer is that I shall ever be willing to yield all to Him. What shall I give Thee, Master? Thou hast giifn all for meg Not just a part nor half of my heart, I will give all to Thee. JOHN CRAWFORD He only is my rock and my salvation, The most cherished moments of all my Bible institute days are those spent alone with Him. What a joy it is to hnd that in Him is the fulness of lifel cIALL'l'71IYX I1.UO PAUL R. COCHRAN I do praise the Lord for saving me in the days of my youth. My ultimate purpose in life shall be to place HIM first, How glad I am that I came to PhilaBI to be hetter equipped to do the Fathers will! MILDRED' CROASDALE These years at PhilaBI have been the highlight of my school days in Philadelphia. Here the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in each student makes hrotherly love a reality, not merely something to strive for. Certainly the Lord has used this Christian fellowship to bring me closer to Himself.

ROGER N. FREY What things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 'Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ jesus my Lord .... Therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that 1 shall not be ashamed. BERNITA GROSS A Thanksgiving Vesper Service in the Chapel dim with the soft light of candles is outstanding to me. After a time of quiet organ music, students, without introduction, presented vocal and instrumental praise to God. Finally, Mr. Pentecost spoke, suggesting that each of us offer to Him the sacrifice of thanks, The evening captured the true message of Thanksgiving-that of givf ing reverent adoration to the One to whom we owe our all. . 5 W SHIRLEY FRY What is the worth of this life of mine Except it be hid in Him? Where is my hope, my joy, my peace Except it be given by Him? What shall I lay at my Master's feet Except it be wrought by Him? Why must I go to a dying world? Because I've been sent by Him! For me to live is Christ. BARBARA SUE GUTTRIDGE Be still and know that I am God. Some of my most precious moments in the rush of school and city life were those spent waiting before the Lord and claiming His precious promisesfmy strength for today, my hope for to' morrow and my joy for eternity. Behold, thou art my God! 'Idwentyffour GIL GREGORY Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! I continually praise God for His many blessings to me during my days at PhilaBI. God has blessed in many ways: in class, in chapel, on meetings, and just as we talked person to person. Truly, the Lord can bless in everything we do for Him. ROY S. HABECKER These three years at PhilaBI have been wonderful ones in which I learned more about the Lord Jesus Christ and how to better give forth the Word of God that others might come to a saving knowledge of Christ. I have also learned that I can do nothing of myself, but that I can do all things through Christ, who gives me the strength.
