IDA LOU AMMERMAN Why should He love me so? He pro' vides joy, fellowship, disappointment . . . all that I need. Why? . . . He loves me! His is a love reaching into the future, promising, There is nothing too hard for Me , . . a love which never fails. Yes, He loves meg that is why I love Him. E. DAVID BALL I praise the Lord for leading me to this school. Here I have begun to learn the meaning of He must increase, but I must decrease. ANNE AVIS What precious days these have been under His training at PhilaBI! I think of His hands pierced and bleed' ing to pay the debt. Such mercy, such love and devotion can I forget? Perhaps the lesson learned most deeply: 'Ye are not your own. For ye are bought with a price. RICHARD C. BARTH That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fel' lowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death. I praise God for the opportunities that have been afforded me at PhilaBI to know Him better. It has been a great joy to me to see Him revealed more and more both through classfroom experiences and experiences in service for Him. Nineteen KENNETH BAIRD The greatest blessing I received dur' ing my three years at PhilaBI was the opportunity of using what I had learned in school while doing the Lord's work at a camp in North Carolina. just to see young teen-agers accept Christ as Saviour and Christian teenfagers dedi- cate their lives to Him was a joy I shall never forget. ANN BENTLEY I thank the Lord that among the many things I have learned at PhilaBI has been the joy one can receive in a dayfbyfday walk with jesus. As I leave these three years behind me may I continue to have Colossians 1:10 before me dThat ye might walk worthy of the Lor . . .

bmiur 15155 F ADMIT our first impressions of PhilaBI were bleak . . . stark dormitory rooms . . . strange faces . . . endless registration lines . . . Freshman comprehensive exams . . . We warmed to greetings by the faculty, and soon felt at home. Cur Freshman year was highlighted by Dr. Walter Wilscin's speaking to us . . . our Halloween social . . . Christmas festivities . . . a missionary conference in the early Spring.fRemember Orientation classes in second semester? The school social and final goodbye to the grads of 1953 will never be forgotten. As Juniors we were impressed by our school's activities . . . Life of Christ taught by Mr. Pentecost . . . Dean lV1ason's dramatized classes. . . our Fall social, a liusking bee . . . an undefeated football season. Christmas that year wasnlt white, but bright. After a siege of final exams, we relaxed MR. LUFBURROW Class Advisor during the missionary conference in january with its theme, Is There None to Rescue Them? '... The sehool's social committee planned an evening concert for all of us, with a buffet supper following. In june our goodbyes were sad. Our class in September, 1954, was like one unit. We had grown to know and love each other as love for the Lord had increased. PhilaBl now was a part of each of us, and in June 1955, we become alumni, each going separate ways, knowing we will meet in His presence where are fulness of joy and pleasures forevermore. Lou Bradley, Presidentg Joyce Longenecker, Vice-Presidentg Bernita Gross, Secretaryg Raymond Brubaker, Treasurer. H

RUSSELL BISHOP The Word of God, as it reveals Christ to us, transforms our life. My years at PhilaBI have created a desire to really know His Word and to have constant communion with Him. I pray that I may walk step by step in the pathway of His will for my life. GLENDA BRIDGENS He was better to me than all my hopes, He was better than all my fears: He made a bridge of my broken works. And a 'rainbow of my tears, The billows that guarded my seafgiri path But carried my Lord on their crestg When I dwell on the days of my wilderness march I can learn on His love for the rest. BEVERLY BLANEY Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. My three years at PhilaBI have been precious because of the ministry God gave me in song. Souls were brought to Him, Christians were strengthened, and my heart was refreshed because it caused me to CONSIDER HIM. ROY F. BRILL, JR. My desire is that the Lord will someday send me forth into his vast harvest field4'l'o open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins. Twenty LOU BRADLEY One thing that has impressed me while I have been in Philadelphia is the fact that there are many thousands who are walking the streets without Christ and without hope. The words of the Lord Jesus have come to my mind again and again, Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel. SHIRLEY BRINK Not mine, but HIS must be the choice, For every passing dayg And in His hands I gladly leave The keeping of my way. Not mine, for I should make mistakes And things would all go wrong, But HIS, and through the darkest night My Saviour gives a song!
