Standing: Clara Lou Hildebrand, Editorg Russ Bishopg Renald Showers. iltstune Staff The 1955 Milestone originated in our Junior year with the appointment of Jack Kraft as editor. His staff was selected, and after hours of discussion the printer and photographer were chosen. Plans were then made for the layout of the yearbook. Wlien we returned in the fall the dummy , or skeletal copy of the book, was ready and jack dis' tributed the work among the various editors, who immediately assigned the work to members of their staff. While Mildred Croasdale and the other photog' raphers were busy taking pictures, Clara Lou Hildebrand and her literary staff proceeded to obtain the pertinent information for the writefups. The sketches were designed by Carl Harrison and his art staff. Business was transacted by Raymond Brubaker and his staff. The work was finished and sent to the printer who returned the proofs to us. Jack and the associate editor, Carolyn Eberley, completed the details for the book. In May, the yearbooks were deliveredg after the chapel program for the dedication of the yearbook, they were distributed to the students. Miss Lyster Advisor One Hundred Four
