llll THE MILE T0 ll For the Seniors this book is a marker indicating the progress made both in their lives and that of the school. With this idea in mind, Lois and Walt chose The MILESTONE as its name. Believing this to be the most appropriate title en- tered in the contest, the judges proclaimed it the winner. The decision was made only after much thought and deliberation. A fifteen dollar award was shared by these two, who, unknown to each other, had been like-minded in their choices. In value far beyond the money received, will be the satisfaction of having been used of the Lord to give the meaningful name to this yearbook and those of future years.
