Eastern Baptist Sem. The 1952 season was one of thrills and surprises for the red and white from P.B.I. Under the able leadership of Coach Ceperley, the team opened with an overwhelming defeat of Reformed Episcopal and followed up with consecu- tive wins over Crozier, Faith and Kings. The climax of the season came with the championship game against Eastern Baptist, played in several inches of mud and pouring rain. Unable to operate successfully under such handicaps, the boys lost their only game of the season. Next season promises to be equally exciting, although the team will miss such stars as Jim Hicks, Don Weaver, Stew Brady, Clarence Adams and Dave Coots.
