Experience in dramatics, that isp stage- craft, properties, make-up and acting on stage helps stu- dents to become less awkward and more confident. Mr. Newsom still directs the activities of the Dra- matics Club and has done a fine job here heretofore consider- ing the limited qualities with which he had to work. 'The officers this year are as follows: President, Elmo Tibbsg Vice-President, Bobbie Tanner, Secretary- Treasurerg Ellen Stevens. The club has 19 members. Three of the 19 with lr. Newsom attended a conference at Eastern College November 2-h. These three delegates were Bobbie Tanner, Phoebe Charles, and Raymond Dotson. While at Eas- tern they attended the play nYears Agou. They also learned how to apply make-up to make a person appear younger or older. This year the Dramatics Club entered the dramatics festival and received a superior rating for their per- formance.
