Vocational staff increases Students enrolled in vocational classes are offered an opportunity to learn various interesting skills. Various clubs are sponsored by the vocational department which provide students experience in auto and appliance repair, metal and construction trades, agriculture, art methods, clerical skills, and opportunities to work at numerous types of jobs while still attending school. The department enjoys a fairly new spacious building which houses costly equipment that is vital to acquiring the varied skills. Mr. Wesley Van Matre heads the vocational department. Erasmo Sandoval is only an example of a typical auto mechanics student, while Cynthia Solis is busy putting her talents to practice in her home economics course. 22
