Well, let’s list them: Schedul- ing dates at a later time of the night, not doing homework until the next morning (shucks), meeting new people who are sometimes obnoxious. Of course managers who are real . . . well you don't like them. Staying up late, waking up ear- ly, cleaning up everyone else’s mess after the store has closed. There are several that have been missed but everyone is sure to agree that the job they detest the most is the dreaded inventory. Problems Solved Between Yawns Meetings may not always be full of excitement, as Mark Fouts shows us with a yawn, but many problems were solved during the Junior Class meetings held before school. With a prom to pay for and very little money in the account, the Junior Class really had to get down to business and try to raise some money. During the summer a booth was set up at the Austin Aqua Festiva and approximately $1500 was raised. A bake sale was held in December with profits around $150. In January, raffle tickets were sold for one dollar to win two tickets to see the Prince concert. That brought in an ad- ditional $130. Candy sales, and possibly a car wash in the Spring were also ideas for raising money. But. that’s not all the Junior Class had to do; picking out a theme, colors, and decorations for the prom were also discussed. “Despite all the hard work put into the projects everyone had a good time doing it and I’m sure they will also enjoy the prom.'' stated the class President.
