THE t ll ci n i n e r PFEIFFER COLLEGE Misenheimer, North Carolina nineteen hundred - FOREWORD From the very first time a person sets foot on Pfeiffer campus, he is aware that here he will find something he has never known before . . . and when he leaves, he is quite unable to say just what the something was. But the feeling of a deeper, inner richness, a renewed outlook on life, a new supply of knowledge, an abundance of friendships . . . these are only a few of the things he takes with him when he leaves. Some people come to Pfeiffer and find their life's partner, many find Christ . . . everyone finds new knowledge and new friendships. From the cold winter mornings when the wail of the siren calls the sleepyheads to breakfast, to the bright spring mornings which may begin a fun-filled day at Ritchie's or lead to an afternoon of sunning on the catwalk , each day at Pfeiffer opens an exciting new chapter in life for us. On the following pages we present to you only a few of the highlights of a year at Pfeiffer—a year of advance- ments for the college and for everyone privileged to attend this Christian institution. DEDICATION IN TOKEN OF OUR ESTEEM AND IN SINCERE GRATITUDE FOR HIS INTEREST IN ALL THAT HAS GONE TO MAKE A STRONGER PFEIFFER, WE DEDICATE THE NINETEEN FIFTY-FIVE EDITION OF THE PANTHER TO . . . 5 MR.
