nn- 7... MIIQW ASSOCIIATIIO The Pewitt High School Letter Association was originated in T950 by the School Superinten- dent, Frank C. Bean, as a means of recognizing the students both athletic and literary who contri- bute to the school. The organization began with I7 members, with a present membership of 259. Annual meetings of the Association are held on Thursday before Easter at 7:00 P. M. P-ASSOCIATION CONSTITUTION ARTICLE I. NAME SECTION ONE. We do declare that this organization shall be known as The Pewitt High School Letter Associa- tion. ARTICLE 2. PURPOSE SECTION ONE. The purpose of this organization is to promote closer fellowship among the members of the association and to co-operate in promoting the general welfare ofthe school. ARTICLE 3. MEMBERSHIP SECTION ONE. Only members of the association and their spouses will be permitted to attend any of the activ- ities of the association. ARTICLE 4. MEETING SECTION ONE. The annual banquet will be held the Thursday night before Easter. Each member planning to at- tend the banquet will be requested to pay 51.00 for his plate and 51.00 for that of spouse. ARTICLE 5. ELECTION SECTION ONE. The President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and sponsors shall be elected by a maiority vote of the Pewitt Letter Association members. The election shall be held at the annual P As- sociation banquet. ARTICLE 6. AMENDMENTS SECTION ONE. Amendments to this constitution may be adopted to fit the needs of the Association. Said pro- posed amendment must be approved by a two-thirds vote of the association members at the an- nual banquet before becoming effective. Football squad gets letters
