.ad Y DESPERATE AMBROSE , , , October 11 and 12, 1956 SENIOR PLAY Ambrose Groves and Bert Miller, a couple of would-be comedians, get kicked off a train in the mid- dle of the desert. This situation lays the foundation for the rootin'est, tootin'est, funniest satire about the old West you ever saw. In this thriller, the sheriff is crooked, and with his sidekicks, try to get the hotel away from its heirs. The unusual setting makes this play an outstanding performance. GHOST HOUSE March 15 and 16, 1956 JUNIOR PLAY A young man, William Harrison, inherits a southern mansion, complete with buried treasure and a curse on the Harrison name. His girl friend, Gloria, and her family, and his lawyer accompany him to the south. As midnight nears, ghostly events add to a thriller and holds the audience spellbound. Of course there is a villian, a few persons who appear harmless, but are otherwise, and the usual comedy characters. Between ghosts and romances, the mystery is finally solved as to where the treasure was hidden .
