Usually at this time a one-act play is presented. Every year we put on two or three short plays at an assembly program for the entire school. This club is open to all Sophomores, Iuniors, and Seniors. In addition it prepares us for the Junior and Senior plays which are given each year. The Dramatics Club was organized by Mrs. Stech and under her excellent directions many successful plays have been given. 63

The officers are voted into office at the close of the year preceding theirterm. They con- sist of a president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. Pep Club meetings are held every other Thursday during football and basketball season. During the past year the Pep Club had various money- making projects: sold blue and white shakers during the foot- ball season, during the basketball season, booster ribbons in the colors of the opposing team, with slogans on them were sold, and had concessions for a football and a basketball game. They bought new sweaters for the cheerleaders and sold emblem sweatshirts to mebers of the club. One of the major undertakings of the Pep Club is the huge annual bonfire held once each football season. 62 D D ClUB Pres. ..... ...... B onnie Elliott Vice-Pres. ., ....
