The pur- pose is to promote Christianity throughout the school and community. Every year Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y get together and put on a Christmas Formal, and in the spring, a picnic. The theme of the formal this year was Si1ver Snow. Under the capable leadership of Mrs. Bailey, our advisor, we have had a very successful year. SUB-DEBS The Sub-Deb Club was founded in 1941. At the present time there are 25 members. New members are taken from ninth and tenth grades. Seniors are honorary members. The advisor to the club is Mrs. Marguerite Beckley. Primarily a social group, it has as its ideals: good character, a spirit of friendliness, and service. This year one of the projects was a Christmas cookie sale. Some of the money earned was used for a needy grade school child. One of the yearly contributions of the club, is to the Iunior Bed Cross. Each year in the spring a slumber party is held honoring the senior members.
