5' Mon OUR BAND The high school band is an important part of our music department. They never fail tointrigueus with their performances at the football games. Under the able direction of Mr. Francis J'. Divita, the band goes through routines that can be accomplished only by many long hours of practice. 'I'he band also adds to the 8lIB1'I3iI1II'l61I of the commlmity by participating in parades, both in Peterstown and in surrounding oommimities, and giving seasonal concerts. During the summer when the other students never let their minds wander toward the thought of going back to school, the band members come to rehearsal three times aweek. These meetings andextra practice sessions are mandatory if we are to continue to be recognized as an important part of our school and oommlmity.
