Secretary Treasurer Parliamentarian, , , Reporter Recreation Leaders . . Co-Historians . . Projects completed during the year were: Sent representatives to State Camps Past president, Margaret Whitt, installed new officers. Served Rotary Held bake sales Sold flavoring Served Appalachian Banquet Initiated fourteen new members Sponsored a Square dance Entertained with the annual Parent-Daughter Banquet Conferred honorary membership to Mrs. Meadows Attended Southem Regional meeting . Ann Pendleton . . . . Gail Ogle Margaret Mann Ierusha Stafford . . Judy Jackson Frances Wickline Sue Weatherford Sandra Hood . Lillian Dillon Meralyn Mays Twenty members worked on Junior Degrees, eight worked on Chapter Degrees and one worked on a State degree.

David Gwinn Vice-President .......... Jim Long Reporter . . . . . Ann Pendleton Secretary ......... Betty Simmons Our achievements for this year are as follows: 1. Finished paying for the piano. 2. Sponsored a semi- formal dance honoring the football team. 3. Initiated six new members into the club. 4. Worked as substitute teachers for the grade and high school. 5. Managed the House of Horrors at the Halloween Camival. 6. Served Rotary Dinners. 7. Challenged the faculty to a basketball game. 8. Attended the state convention at Charleston. 9. Enjoyed the annual Christmas party. 10. Contributed to the March of Dimes. 11. Jointly served the Appalachin Banquet with the F. H. A. The motto of the Beta Club is Let us lead by serving others. We have strived to follow this mot- to a.nd achieve our goals that are set up by our National Beta Club Organization.
