It would take several volumes to cover the many glorious experiences we have encountered here. It is only possible to cover the highlights of this momentous year. We hope that at some future date these personalities, pic- tures, and words may bring back to your memory our school days together at P. H. S. Within the leaves of this annual may be found the stu- dents, the various organizations, the faculty, and the admin- istration--the inspiration and purpose of our publication of this book. We sincerely hope you enjoy it. In closing, we would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to our advisor, Mr. C.M. Isola, who has been our constant guide in making this yearbook possible. The mostimportant aspect of your education is to realize at an early age that life has a purpose. Life will be empty for the person who fails to try to understand his place in society. Every worthy student needs to know that he can not be a part of any organi- zation or facet of society without bearinganinfluence. This influence will be negative or positive. Those who have led here in this preparation for life, must also be the leaders of this oolmtry in the future. Use the great powers that God has so generously given each of you and apply thehiddm energies of your soul for the greatest happiness in life. I hope the years you have spent at Peterstown High School will help you to bebetter men and women. Iwill watch you with interest. They never fail tointrigueus with their performances at the football games. Under the able direction of Mr. Francis J'. Divita, the band goes through routines that can be accomplished only by many long hours of practice. 'I'he band also adds to the 8lIB1'I3iI1II'l61I of the commlmity by participating in parades, both in Peterstown and in surrounding oommimities, and giving seasonal concerts. During the summer when the other students never let their minds wander toward the thought of going back to school, the band members come to rehearsal three times aweek. These meetings andextra practice sessions are mandatory if we are to continue to be recognized as an important part of our school and oommlmity. The BAND is active during the entire year! 7: Er Ei NEG, iii ' VE 1 1' sl W 'E v Saas Section wma, sfwp, Ciucvztet J K W 1 1 X QW ., 1' 38 .. 3 . 94 l Q7 ' 1 it ! i A eq enQQ00oPnm. m', Nzn0f'00ANWv QQQQHQA Uwwa Nb M...
