FRESHMEN The Freshmen class was very active in school activities this year. They participated in football, volleyball, basketball, and track. All Freshmen were members of the Pep Club and helped sup- port the upperclassmen at varsity games. Some Freshmen were on the annual staff while others kept busy by participating in Band. The Freshmen sponsored a cake raffle and had a concession stand to raise money. The money was used to help the Sophomores in sponsoring a dance. JUNIOR HIGH Both classes of the Junior High kept very busy all through the school year. Several members of the Junior High were active as stu- dent managers for both boys and girls sports. They also participated in many High School events and activities, such as Spirit Week, pep rallies, and Band. The Junior High also took part in the Pope John Field Day, several Co-ed basketball games, and track meets. To raise money, they sponsored a concession stand and cake raffle. At the end of the year, they took a field trip to Norfolk. The money was also used to purchase flowers for the eighth grade graduates. Above, The Junior High poses for a group shot.
