FRESHMEN The Freshmen class was very active in school activities this year. They participated in football, volleyball, basketball, and track. All Freshmen were members of the Pep Club and helped sup- port the upperclassmen at varsity games. Some Freshmen were on the annual staff while others kept busy by participating in Band. The Freshmen sponsored a cake raffle and had a concession stand to raise money. The money was used to help the Sophomores in sponsoring a dance. The Freshmen had a great year overall, and look forward to participating in more activities next 12

Above, Class officers: Secretary Treas. Rene Petsche; Vice President Lee Ketteler; President Gina Koch. This year, the Sophomore class excelled both academically and athletically. Everyone participated in at least one sport and the girls made up for four-fifths of the track team. The whole class belonged to Pep Club. Both Rene and Gina placed second in the Conference Academic Contest. We were also active in Conference and District Speech Contests, Conference Art Contest, Band, Chorus, and the Fall Play. A cake raffle, paper drive, and home game concessions were our money makers this year. We also sponsored the Sweetheart Dance. Lisa, Gina, Lee, and Neil had the honor of serving the Seniors and Juniors at his year's prom. Next year, we hope to better oursleves and take on new responsibilities with a positive attitude.
