8 JUNIORS: The Planets We Juniors started our year by receiving our class rings on the first day of school. We were very active in sports, drama, speech, and many other extra-curricular activities, in which we were on Varsity or played major roles. Paul received the Most Improved Award in football; Diane received the Most Valuable Award in girls track, and Jerry received the Most Improved Award in boys track and the Best Actor Award. Our major activity was planning the Junior-Senior Prom. We sponsored cake raffles and a concession stand to raise money for Prom, along with selling magazines and records. It is our hope that the experiences and efforts in making this school year a successful one will be carried on with us, to help us next year to make our last year even better.
