Too many students think education is a filling up process. They think facts and information must be stored for future use. Education is a developing process. You must learn how to think. You must learn to use your brains in new and difficult situations. This is more true today than ever. In this space age of computers and scientific development, today's facts will be antiquated tomorrow. One must be able to adjust to change if his education today can be used in tomorrow's world. Therefore, if you are developing your brain into a thinking machine rather than memorizing facts, you are being educated. 'fy0'44,..e County Administration -M...-f V Mr. Thomas H. Hupp Bill C- FOX Principal Assistant Principal High School Administration Webster defines the word commencement asthe time of commencing or beginning. As you, the class of 1967, participate i in commencement exercises truly you will be commencing on the long and exciting journey of life. l By choosing to graduate from high school you have already chosen the right direction for your journey. However, up i to this point in your life you have been guided by parents, teachers and friends. Now many of you will be completely on your own and the direction you choose here-after will depend entirely on you. Remember the road will not always be smooth--- but because of the knowledge you have gained and the faith which you possess---your commencement can become a reality. 5 On behalf of the administration and faculty, I extend to you our heartiest congratulations and wish for each of you a i long, successful and happy life. , J Bill C, Fox Assistant Principal ,- :EH Ill Klllfl BW!
