Foreword Fall has faded its brilliance into the white glistening of winter which melted away to the approach of spr ing, ln nine short months the class of '64 has all too soon completed its senior year and is pre- pared to graduate. When its ninety-three individual members leave their Alma Mater they will scatter to meet their various destinies. Time has proven they will never assemble in their total ever again, The senior year is the most important year of a graduate's high school life. As it is the most recent one will always recall many pleasant memo- ries which as the poet says, mellow with the years . There are highlights of this year which were special in the curriculum of the school. The Petro Schola staff has tried to capture these fleeting moments andapresent them to you in concrete form. As you open your yearbook you will travel down a school lane of memories. The mind functions amazingly. lt needs only a brief glimpse of the past to bring it back vividly. The 1964 Petro Schola will be a treas- ured reminder of happy school days when our troubles were few and our hearts young and gay. DEDICATIO - For your unending patience throughout each year, For your jolliness, gaiety, and cheer: For the lessons in English from which we all have profited, For all the good times that to help us you have forfeited: For teaching us the crafts that make our home the best, For contributing the most to make our junior play a success, For the long hours spent helping with our junior promg For the high spirited attitude which we have learned so many lessons from: To list all the ways that you have helped us Would be too much to do, So we'll simply say Thanks Mrs. Arnold For just being you. And in appreciation, we proudly dedicate to you Our 1964 issue of the Petro Schola. Our memories of Mrs. Arnold will not be that of her sitting primly behind her desk. We never saw her that way--she was too busy. They will be of her in her slacks coaching the junior play cast. We will see her with a paint brush in hand devoting talents to the prom decorations. But most of all we willremember the times when we asked her advice and she found a solution to our problems.
