Wins were scored against Thomas, Franklin, Ridgeley, and Circleville. Losses were suffered at the hands of LaSalle, Romney, and Keyser. One of the highlights of the season was an 0-0 tie with the age-old rivals, Moorefield. John Waddy and Jimmie Kessel were elected co-captains at the annual training camp sponsored by the local boosters club. Coach- es Jesse Riggleman and Clem Glower had the able assistance of All-American Bill Breheny at the one week camp. Guard John Waddy was elected to the PVC all-conference team. Quarter-back Jimmie Kessel, half-back Don Huffman and tackel Donald Graham were elected to the second team. Lost through graduation were Jimmie Kessel, John Waddy.
