Science: Discovery Th rough Experimentation An odor coming from the chemistry lab travels throughout the third floor, making many wonder what it is. Individual and group experiments are essential not only in chemistry, but also in physics. Testing the pupil ' s knowledge and ability, physics culmi- nates the science curriculum of biolo- gy, advanced biology, and chemistry. The science depa rtment, headed by Mr. Jerome Batts, facilitates an accu- rate interpretation of reality. To introduce indiviuuals to the ultimate values of science, teachers have acquired overhead projectors and new equipment. Kent Yandle and Dully Barney watch as Mr. Gore demonstrates circular motion. m Amid the contusion, Mrs. Swinton helps chemistry students prepare their experiments.
