Then we entered theSophomoreClass, the year was forty-three. Many changes had come aboutg in the future we couldn't see. Fbr many of our boys were getting old enough to go to war, And soon we found there were parting tears for them and many more. Our Junior year dawned bright and clear one warm September day, And then throughout the year we found that most of us were gay. There were many activities through the year, dancing and basket ball games We attended many of them as we worked toward our aims. Then came the year of forty-five, SENIORS we were at last, Proud and happy as we could be, for we had our last play cast. We've had our work, we've had our fun in good old Petersburg High. Our Senior Class of forty-six now bids our school good bye.
