The Home Economics Club started the year by electing the following off1cers:Presl- dent, Jane Mclanusg Vice- Pres1dent,Betty Whiteselgand Secretary-Treasurer, Betty Barclay. The activities of the year were: the presenting of an assembly program, a dinner at the school house which everyone enjoyed, and the making of gifts at Christmas time. The Club feels that it has had a very successful year. The Press Club was organized this year by Hr. Wagner. The Club consists of ten members, 1ncluding:Phnebe Goss, Maris Barclay, Ethel Hundsrucker, Janet Ross, Ethel Bishop, William Hurley, Edward Houck, Blair Croyle, Harvey Port, and Alfred Hawn.The officers elected at the beginning of the year were: President, Edward Houck, Vice-President, Virginia Grossmang and Secre- tary, Ethel Bishop. Hey, kids! how did the first week ge? 19. Gee! did the boys sweat at the Axuv and Navy test today. 22. After a hard struggle we won our first ball game of the year, over HcAlevy's Fort. 27. Were your eyes sore from the 'iinking Game' at Goss's last night? 29. The Seniors are 'Deep ln the Heart of' collecting paper. 00f40b8I'. 2. Well! the Seniors are still at lt. 6. Cole to the senior square dance and, 'Swing that g1rl'. 13. Whb rates Avg this first six weeks? 18. Our first class meeting. 20. who missed this date? 27. And now the Student Council Party! Boy! what a crowd. 31. Streamers of tissue decorated our school yard like Christmas on Halloween. November. 10. 'Swing that lady left and right' at the Jun1or's square dance tonight. 15. It surely was a tough day at school. 17. Now 1t's the Jun1or's turn to collect paper. 18. Golly! they work even on Saturday. 20. The Seniors are busy practicing for their play. 23. The turkeys all run for shelter. December. l. The doors were epen to everybody but, 'Don't Darken ly Door'. 2. The second night of the play. Oh, my! 12. Class meetings went over with a bang! 15. The Student Council party was slew because of tht snow. 21. Is every one looking for Santa Claus? 22. Oh boy! we get a vacation for a change. 26. Vaeation surely is a HBIP! 29. Every one was back on the ball again at the Senior square dance. January. 2. A swell vacation, while it lasted. 3. School surely is going tough. 9.
