ophomore Class Histor On the hot morning of August 28, 1956, eighty-eight freshman stepped through the doors of P.H.H.S. to further 'heir intellectural careers. For their first leaders, they elected ,as their officers: President, Brenda Page, Vice-President, Patty Tibbsg Secretary, Bill Houghton, Treasurer, Dick Moss, and Student Council member, Russell Sevorns. Sponsors were Mrs. Rebbe, Mr. Worth- ington, and Mr. Maroscia. Two of the more outstanding events were the Freshman Party and Freshman Initiation. This concluded the Freshman year. On September 3, 1957, seventy-four eager sophomores returned to P.H.H.S. to start the second year in their scholastic career. Elected as class officers were: President, Patty Tibbsg Vice-President, Jim Eddingsg Secretary, Bryce Monroe, Treasurer, Russell Severnsg Student Council members, Shiryl Brauer, ard Larry Rebbe. The sponsors for 1957-1958 were Mrs. Peterson, Mr. McKee, and Mr. Haddick. The most memorable 'activities for the year were the Sophomore Party and the Sophomore Stunt, directed by Mrs. Peterson.
