THE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE Members of the class of 1960: It is with a deep sense of pride that I greet you in this Annual. A publication such as this requires a great deal of time and hard work. The members of the Wildcat staff deserve our warmest thanks and praise for a fine job of compiling this, the first edition of the WILDCAT. An Annual is a record of history--history that set forth the chronological steps of the lives and activities of those persons who have associated their cooperative efforts for a period. Incidents in pictures very often tell a more vivid story than the pen can describe. It is my sincere hope that in the years to come, in your laudable endeavors, this Annual will refresh your memories on the glorious days you spent at Appling.
