Four days laTer on May 27 The Senior Ball was held. A Theme oT inTormaliTy was obTained in The Music Hall by The use of drapes, wicker TurniTure and Tloor lamps while The enTrance was decoraTed wiTh laHice work and flowers To represenT a veranda. On June I The sTudenTs enioyed a picnic and banqueT. STudenTs dressed To represenT The laTe l8Th cenTury, sTarTed aT nine o'clock on Their parade down To KenilworTh Park where They spenT an enioyable morning. In The evening of The same day The P.-T. A. gave a banqueT aT The Women's Club l-louse. The Theme Tor The banqueT was Taken Trom MaseTield's poem, For l MusT Down To The Sea. Mrs. McDonald, Reverend BriTTin, Miss Trueblood, Mr. DursT, and Miss Duggan addressed Those presenT. The Topics of Their Talks were. respecTively, Dropping The PiloT, CharTing The Course, STormy Days, Ships ThaT Pass, and Open Seas. June 2 was Class Day Tor The Seniors and They gave a play enTiTled Blind DaTe. Gradu- aTion Exercises were held in The High School Gymnasium on June 3. The sTudenT speakers were Laurence BolTon, KenneTh BaTTaglia, Vivyan PeTersen, MargareT Murphy. Vera Iverson, Mariorie Lyle, and Mark Mayfield.
